What We're Currently Accepting
✓ Poetry Collections
- Length: Minimum of 100 pages (approximately 50 poems or more).
- Debut Authors Welcome: No prior publication required.
- Thematic Collections Preferred: Cohesive arc or concept.
- All Styles Considered: Free verse, formal, experimental, or narrative.
✓ Fiction (Novels & Novellas)
- Novels: 50,000-120,000 words
- Novellas: 20,000-50,000 words
- Literary Fiction Preferred: Character-driven, emotionally honest.
- Genre-bending Welcome: Literary horror, speculative, experimental.
- Complete Manuscripts Only: Must be finished; editing and formatting will be worked on together.
- Debut Authors Welcome: No platform required.
📝 Note on Non-Fiction: We are not currently accepting memoir, essay collections, or other non-fiction. We focus exclusively on poetry and fiction at this time.
What to Submit
Include the following materials in your submission:
For Poetry Collections
Required Materials
- Cover Letter: Brief introduction—who you are, what the collection is about, why Neburion Apex feels like the right fit (1 page max).
- Sample Poems: 5-10 of your strongest pieces from the collection.
- Table of Contents: Full list of poems in your collection
- Author Bio: 2-3 sentences about you.
- Full Manuscript: Complete poetry collection (optional but preferred).
For Fiction (Novels/Novellas)
Required Materials
- Cover Letter: Brief introduction—who you are, what the book is about, why Neburion Apex feels like the right fit (1 page max).
- Synopsis: 1-2 page summary of your complete story (include ending).
- Author Bio: 2-3 sentences about you.
- Full Manuscript: Complete novel or novella, does not need to be fully edited, we will work together for this portion.
Formatting Requirements
- File format: PDF or Word document (.doc/.docx)
- Font: 12pt, readable font (Times New Roman, Garamond, etc.)
- Spacing: Double-spaced
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- Pages: Include page numbers
- Poetry: One poem per page (preferred)
- Fiction: Standard manuscript format with chapter breaks
- File name: LastName_TitleOfWork.pdf

✗ We’re Not Looking For:
- AI-generated content (we’re 100% human-created)
- Work that’s already been self-published
- Poetry collections without a unifying theme
- Genre fiction focused on plot over character
- Plagiarized or previously published material
- Individual poems or short stories (we publish full-length works)
- Memoir, essay collections, or non-fiction
- Unfinished manuscripts
- Work submitted without reading our guidelines
- Hate speech, discriminatory content, or harmful material
For Poetry: We’re drawn to collections that take us on a journey. Think about how your poems work together to tell a larger story or explore a central question.
💡 For Fiction: We prioritize character development and emotional depth over plot twists. If your novel focuses on internal transformation more than external events, we want to read it.

Send your materials via our submission form or to info@nebapex.com. We’ll confirm receipt within 48 hours.

We will personally read every submission. No algorithms, no interns—just thoughtful, human evaluation.

You’ll hear from us within 4-6 weeks with either an offer or any feedback.

If we wish to move forward, we’ll discuss the publishing agreement, timeline, and begin the collaborative process.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an agent?
No. We accept direct submissions from authors. You don’t need representation to submit to Neburion Apex.
Do I need to be previously published?
Absolutely not. We specifically welcome debut authors. If this is your first book, you’re in the right place.
Is there a reading fee?
No. Submissions are completely free. We never charge authors to consider their work.
Can I submit if some poems/chapters have been published in journals?
Yes! Individual poem or chapter publications in literary journals or magazines are fine and even encouraged. We just don’t accept work that has already been self-published as a complete book.
Can I submit to other publishers at the same time?
Yes, simultaneous submissions are fine. Just let us know if you accept another offer while we’re reviewing your work.
What if my manuscript is accepted?
We’ll send you a publishing agreement outlining royalties, rights, timeline, and our collaborative process. You’ll have time to review and ask questions before signing.
Will I get feedback if rejected?
We try to provide brief feedback when possible, but due to volume, we can’t guarantee detailed critiques for every submission. If we feel your work is close but needs revision, we’ll let you know.
Can I resubmit if I revise my manuscript?
Yes! If you’ve made substantial revisions based on our feedback or your own editing process, you’re welcome to resubmit. Please mention in your cover letter that this is a revised resubmission.
Do you accept work that addresses difficult topics?
Yes. We publish authentic voices, and that includes work addressing mental health, trauma, social issues, and other challenging subjects. If it’s honest and well-crafted, we want to see it.
What happens to my rights?
You retain copyright to your work. We only ask for publication rights for the duration of our partnership, which you can terminate with proper notice. Full details are in the publishing agreement.
Do I need to send the full manuscript for fiction, or just the sample chapters?
We strongly prefer to receive the complete manuscript with your initial submission. If we’re interested based on your sample chapters, we’ll request the full manuscript—but having it ready from the start speeds up the process significantly.
What kinds of fiction do you publish?
We focus on literary fiction—character-driven stories that prioritize emotional depth and beautiful prose over formulaic plots. We’re open to genre-bending work (literary horror, speculative fiction, experimental narratives), as well as romance, thriller, mystery, and fantasy, as long as the writing and character development are strong.
